Cult-favorite New York City bakery Milk Bar sells some of the most creative and original sweets around. Think cereal milk ice cream, crack pie, and their insanely popular “naked” cakes that are all over instagram, just to name a few.

Christina Tosi is the mastermind, founder, and owner of this dessert destination. She’s also a judge on MasterChef Junior.

The good news is you don’t need to live in NYC TO try her most famous treats anymore. We got her to share her recipes so you can get a taste of Milk Bar right in your own kitchen!

Milk Bar's Compost Cookies
Use up all of your snacking and baking odds and ends in this creative cookie. Make them the way Milk Bar does it (loaded with chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, old fashioned oats, potato chips, and pretzels), or add your own snacks to the base cookie mix to make ‘em unique. Either way, they’ll taste great!

Milk Bar’s Classic Naked Birthday Cake
This cake happens to be the bakery’s signature flavor and their best-seller for weddings. It’s simply a classic white cake with colorful rainbow sprinkles running through it. And, since it’s a “naked” cake (meaning the frosting doesn’t completely cover it) you can see all of those pretty layers.

“It’s based on those homey, humble flavors of the vanilla birthday sprinkle cake of your childhood,” says Tosi.

Besides, who doesn’t love a sprinkle cake?!
