Lauren Iannotti, editor-in-chief and content director of Rach's magazine, Rachael Ray In Season, is back and sharing everything she knows about what she predicts will be a 2022 food trend—or should we say drink trend—non-alcoholic beers. Lauren also shares two others: growing your own food and gochujang.
She tells us that there was an 82 percent increase in search for "mocktails" compared to pre-pandemic, which tells us mocktails and other non-alcoholic drinks will be a top trend this year.
The best part? The trend is moving beyond just non-alcoholic lager now.
"Craft breweries are making non-alcoholic beers," Lauren explains. "You don't have just get a lager, your grandpa's NA lager, anymore. Whatever your beer flavor of choice, there's an NA for you now too."
After testing a few, these are some of Lauren's favorite non-alcoholic beers that are featured in the Winter/Spring 2022 issue of Rach's mag.
1. Athletic Brewing Co. Upside Dawn Golden Ale
2. Bravus Oatmeal Dark
3. BrewDog Elvis AF
4. Brooklyn Brewery Special Effects Hoppy Amber
